Halftone Studio v2
A dynamic, multi-layered background generation tool that lets you design, preview, and export high-quality animated visuals as webm videos, PNG stills, or standalone code. By combining fluid color gradients, masking, and structured render engines (like ASCII, halftone, and dithering), it bridges the gap between complex creative coding and instant, customizable UI generation.
In other words... live moving wallpaper generator.
You start with a background of moving colors and gradients, then you slap a cool "filter" on top of it, like retro arcade pixels, dots (halftone), or falling green text like in The Matrix.
What You Can Do With It
This tool gives you absolute creative control over digital texturing and motion. You can:

Fine-Tune Reactive Parameters: Every pattern dynamically exposes unique sliders like density, size, intensity, and speed.

Where did it come from?
This project started as a neat concept built by someone else in the Figma community.
What's New in v2
While the original file laid the groundwork for halftone and dither effects, this version was heavily re-architected to expand creative control, platform compatibility, and export capabilities:
- Expanded Animation Engine: Added a suite of new animation patterns and granular customization controls—including rebuilding the Matrix rain into a true column-based cascade with independent speeds, trail fades, and character mutations.
- Fluid Gradients: Integrated comprehensive gradient and color styling features to serve as dynamic backdrops for the pattern overlays.
- Aspect Ratio Sizing: Built a responsive framing system with standard ratio presets (16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 21:9) and a 1-click landscape/portrait toggle for precise viewport control.
- SVG & Text Masking: Introduced the ability to mask the animated patterns inside custom SVgs and typography, allowing you to turn logos and text into living, textured animations.
- Streamlined Code Exports: Cleaned up and reorganized the export pipeline, adding color-coded step-by-step instructions so developers can easily drop the generated code into Vanilla JS, HTML, or React workflows without guessing dependencies.
